Car is in great shape. Auto, black, tan interior. Great shape for an 11/12 year old car. Picked it up for 4k. It's raining BMWs here! (See my other thread in the 3 series forum)

$4000? How many miles? Have they considered repair maintenance costs?

Yes, as an owner of an older bmw, I must have spent around 2.5 grand aud last year on repairs an general maintenance I did a fair bit to here last year, only real big cost this year was the radiator plus general service at the time cost all up was a 1k .

So as you can see to get the most out of older bmw you must keep up with to them! And there's still stuff I could do to her.

They've identified $1300 in repair costs at the local dealership, which surprised me. Some of those repairs aren't critical, but I've advised him to get them all made anyway. We'll see how it pans out, but this car is in much better shape than any other 1999 car I've seen lately.

In any event, that's a great price. My assistant designer just bought a 98 Camaro for more.

Why not the 1999 750iL V12? Go all the way!

Aus mate, time to get an E60 525i. Dime a dozen E60 on cheap prices, I reckon, plus you get to fiddle with iDrive!

On the list of considered cars, wife wants to look at other cars other than bmw. I don't have any plans to get rid of it just yet.
