Hello -- I'm MalibuBimmer

I am one of the founders of this site, along with Bear, Cobradav and Nevervana. As you can see from my sig, I've had BMWs since before there were 3 series cars. (My 3.0CS qualified as a predecessor to the sharks - the first and second 6 series, not as a 3 series car.)

I hope you will all find this site enjoyable. It is commercial free and we'd like to keep it that way. Everyone who owns a 6er is welcome, and everyone who appreciates 6ers is welcome.

Along with Lawman800, I host the Calabasas 6erfests. Usually we meet in Calabasas and then take Mulholland Highway to Leo Carrillo Beach state park.

My title is Regent (for the Queen intended, PrincessMalibu) and Viceroy of OEM. Until Bimmerfest 2007 I was opposed to all mods. However, I have heavily modified all 6 of my roundels

One of our very few rules here (in addition to keeping it clean, non-commercial and relevant) is that you need to post pics of your car before you can ask questions. (The only exception is "how do I post pics?") So, here is one of my current 6er:

US Bank never got back to me and since I have not seen a repo tow truck (is that what it is?) I assume they have decided that even though I do not have $50,000 in property damage (I have $100,000 plus an $8,000,000 umbrella) I am okay. :jackit:

I finally received a lame letter from the DMV that my insurance appeared to be in order. :jackit:

Then Liberty Mutual sent me a bill for $189 rather than $185 (the increase for having an M6 over a 650i) because they thought I was on monthly payments. I wrote them that I paid my bills as due, and in full, and to deduct the $4. They did that.

Look in the classified section about the Benz. I am still collecting $10,000 contributions to the M6 tin can fund.

So everybody gave me sh!t. And I was in no mood for DJ@RchardsonBMW telling me that the MY 2008 M6 was going to have stop and go cruise control (and probably Xenon fog lights).
