There's also all kinds of activities and stuff. My favorite is a beach volleyball. :dunno: Also,
Seņor Frog's

the best place to be at night...

I'd rather be at Senor Commencer's - the liquor is better and cheaper.

That depends. How is the weather there in the summer? Hot? Humid?

I need (at a minimum...in no particular order) the following:

~A great Cupcake shop nearby;
~A very roomy suite with High Speed Internet and a fridge;
~A great room service menu;
~All of my BMW Buddies close by.

:greenlaff:

Weather in June?

June to August

The summer in Playa is hot. This is also when the sea is the calmest, and has the best crystal clear turquoise look to it. The water is so warm you can stay in for hours. Blue skies prevail. Rainfall is seen, usually as short heavy afternoon showers after a hot day. There can be some wicked thunder storms this time of year, but they only last for an hour or so. Nights do not get cooler. Thin cotton clothes and a hat are your best friends this time of year. Along with your beach wear.

Cupcakes?

I'll make them for ya! :mrgreen:

Roomy suite?

I'll lend you the apartment in exchange of a Chateubriand dinner in Long Beach!!

Room service menu?

I'll even draw a menu for you with pics of food and stuff! Don't ask where I get the food from though...

BMW buddies close by?

I'm setting up a tent for Boxy next to the lagoon and we can set up a sleeping bag for Bdaw in the front porch. Do you want them closer than that? :scared:

That's what I call service???? :mrgreen:

#1. All you can eat cup cakes all over place (if we choose the all inclusive)..
#2. The rooms are not as big as the one you had in Chicago, but they are bigger then usual. I think, there are some places that have town homes too... (with balconies and stuff)..
#3 The Internet is only available in the main lobby for about $10 US a day.
#4 Platinumpackage gets room service 24 hrs/day... (all inclusive)...
#5 I've been there many times and like it very much.. Would go there in a heart beat...

Just my .02c... Maybe C can add/correct my answers.

On a more serious note, I agree with E, an all inclusive hotel is a very comfortable way of enjoying Playa.

I would suggest staying in Puerto Aventuras though.

http://www.puertoaventuras.com/

It's a private community with hotels, marina, yacht club, dolphinarium, houses, apartments,etc..., gated and right in the middle between PDC and Tulum. With all the attractions close by.

All sorts of accomodations to choose from for different budgets and different tastes.

I'd rather be at Senor Commencer's - the liquor is better and cheaper.
