I just started a KuniBMW twitter account. Does anyone here use it?
Not sure what uses it may have other than socially connecting with customers / making it easy for them to contact w/questions, etc....
Any tips?

It's just a cut down version of Facebook, micro-blogging, all you do is change your status.

I've started the habit of registering on these things just so I can get the username I want. Then I don't use it. I have a twitter account simply so I could register my name before someone else does. I was fortunate to get a gmail account with my actual name, rather than some bastardized version like firstname_lastname or firstname.lastname or last_first or w/e. :thumb:

I just created a friendfeed account, which I have no intention of using. I hear it's 'better than facebook'. I don't care, heh.

Why, when replying to a post immediately above, do you copy the entire post?

I was in a forum once where people actually got mad at that.

Those little white pills make me sick. I'm tired of them. At least, that's what the clock keeps telling me.

bdaw is a busy man and doesn't have time for cutting out the unwanted parts.

You of all people should know that we are quite lenient here, and don't anger too easily. Hell...we even let Audi owners post here!!!

because there are multiple people posting in the thread and many people only use the new post buttons which takes them to the new post in the thread which doesn't show them the previous posts. Unless you're boxy and you read things backwards.

It reduces the confusion when I say "You're an Idiot."

And why, when you quote a post that has quote, it doesn't quote the quotes? Disjoints things a bit if someone reading my post quoting yours hasn't read yours and the quotes you posted. Clear as mud? If not, trying reading it backwards - works for me.

I am @mnjames. Recently got on the bandwagon. But I am a passive Twitterer. I enjoy following others and don't Twit much.

Anyone Twitter? I am addicted. I find an incredible amount of useful information and links from the 93 people I follow. I have about 80 followers myself and trying to promote it more. @mnjames. If you're on a Mac, download TweetDeck. I leave it open all day on my second monitor and it scrolls with updates as I work. Love it!
