Great pictures. Beautiful country. Looks quite a bit chillier than when I was there last summer. Did you get a chance to meet with GT?

We had a busy schedule, but it would have been fun to meet up with GT. He gave us lots of good tips on where to go, etc. Maybe next time we can meet up!! :)

Actually only the nights are chillier, Dan. But the day temps have been mostly around 70F during the last 2 weeks. We've had an unusually long warm and dry weather period so far compared to what we know as the typical, ever-changing "april weather".

It's just that there's still lots of snow left above approx. 1200m elevation, the ski season is now about to finish in most resorts.

Eric,

Sounds like you're enjoying some of the same weather we are here in northern California, although yesterday we had some hail during the day with heavy winds, but we're suppose to hit around 90F by the weekend! Strange extremes these days. Take care my friend.

Yes, Charlotte hit near 80 degrees F early March but has had freezing temps at night since. I had hail the other day. It should be low 70s the next few days.

But we've had hail as late as May a few years back on a 75 degree day. That was a 15 minute storm and I couldn't find any shelter. It did $2000 in damage to an M5 I had.
