You might be surprised...

I don't like the plastic dash, but that thing drives like a go kart!

D!

You are correct, when I went to VIR my instructor who races his Mini let me ride with him on the track in his Mini and it was impressive, handles great and pretty fast as well.

Just picked up My 135i up last week, still waiting for a day when I both have time to take some good pics AND the weather wants to cooperate:electric: All I can say at this point is AMAZING. The speed and acceleration rivals that of the E46 M3 and handling....its alsmost like having a trained pet in which whatever direction you point it in it will go and that thick tourqe band makes kicknig out the back end almost as easy as pushing and on/off button. I'm not gonna lie, my opinions may be a little biased as I'v ebeen lusting after this car for sometime, but I'm certain anyone who has driven this car can understand its charm.

lol I know I know. I did manage to take couple camera phone pics the day I got it, but I'm not too thrilled about cameraphone quality :puke:

I love the color...that color on the car seems to be the best I have seen. Seems to changes the lines and make the color look even better IMHO

When I saw the brochures for the 1 I knew Sedona Red was the one for me. Its pretty surprising but I havent seen another 1er in that color in person.

In several of the pics we took of your 1er, it had a distinctive bronze color to it - which was very nice.

Congrats, DSA great looking BMW! dk38 was much improved on the ToD two weeks ago. He was more experienced, but the 135 (I think) really helped - so much more a drivers car than the 3er he has. You made a good choice and I know you'll continue to be thrilled with it.

I can say that the 128i is still my car of choice, but the 135i is just fine. As long as its BMW, I'm happy.
