Anybody here used BMW care products? What do you think?
I got the "Leather preserving set with UV protection". I applied only to the top part of the doors where the leather upholstery meets the bottom of the window, from the lock button to near the small speakers. It was a touch dirty at a spot or two.
And it helps to "preserve the natural smell of leather". That part seems to work too. I don't like other leather care products that have an over powering chemical smell. I just like it au naturale. :greenlaff:

I've just been using meguiars polish and wax, techwash, paint cleaner, and there leather stuff, I wonder if using the oem stuff is any better?

Go to the BMW Australia website and you will find a lot of care products under the accessories section. Most of those, especially the exterior care products, I think are unnecessary, or are as good as your non-BMW products that you can buy out in the market.
But as for interior leather care, different story. You want to use the best and most appropriate. You don't need to apply interior leather care all that often. And I figured BMW obviously knows what would suit its leather best.
Visit BMW Sydney Rushcutters Bay. The Lifestyle shop has everything in stock. The one I got is under $50.

I have the same. I have silverstone and black full leather and it is superior to the Lexol I was using. Don't know who makes it??? Is it made by Lexol since BMW has recommend Lexol products over the years.
