Why were you stumbling around eBay? Oh, I know... It's been at least two weeks since your last car. What was I thinking? :lool:

I wonder if Cobradav has seen that one? He's been on a search for an 8er.

I always search "BMW" stuff looking for seat belt extenders. Been looking for YEARS, but still no luck.

Maybe I should call him?
Probably so - he is/was looking for an 850. Seems like a hell of a deal for less than 20k miles.
Amazing

Has BMW ever made 2/3 piece wheels - or look-alikes? You think those are real OEM?
Regardless, it's clean!

No idea but it looks clean.
I don't really like those wheels on that car, but it wouldn't stop me from buying it.

I am looking into it although there are quite a few little non-OEM touches here. I have a few e31 buds checking this out. Let you know what I find. Thanks all for thinking of me.

A few points. (I have read A LOT about the E31.)
(1) Those wheels we see above are not OEM.
(2) The wood trim we see above is not OEM.
(3) There were a few engines BMW put into the E31, of which only two I would say are worth considering: (A) the 850CSi V12, which is rare and good condition examples are hard to find and cost more, and (B) the more ideal and readily available examples would be the M62 engine 840Ci, which are late/final models from 1996/1997 to 1999/2000. I would go for a M62 840Ci. The M62 V8 was used in the E39 5 series 540i and the E-something 7 series of the day, and was also the basis for the E39 M5's V8. BMW Individual examples of the M62 840Ci with the M Sport Package are the best examples.
Cobradav, if you are seriously looking for one, I would say go for late model M62 840Ci with the M Sport Package in Steptronic.

:wow: A V12 junkie said that?
