9/01 blk M5 in reseda

driving through reseda and spotted e60 black M5 with smoked taillights and everything else stock. asian guy had front plate holder installed with dealer plate..why???

maybe he worked for the dealer...

his plates had same dealer as where i got mine but they didnt deface my car. seriously the front plate bracket on the e60 m5 looks horrible.

A few options:

1. He's afraid he might get a ticket.
2. The dealer installed it without permission and:
a) He didn't give a damn.
b) He hasn't noticed.
c) He noticed but his girlfriend convinced him it looked purty.
d) He noticed but the officer that gave him a ticket convinced him to keep it.
3. He thought it looked NIIICEEEEE! :lool:
4. He works for the dealer. (Thanks 6D)
5. He's covering a dent and didn't have anything else at hand.

If he had smoked tail lights, he knows a bit about cars and should have know better. Even if the dealer had drilled the holes, he could have gotten plugs to fill them.
