I just found a very nice German commercial for the 1 Series:
The clip obviously wants to communicate that the 1 Series is the only car with rear-wheel-drive in it's class. Very cool idea if you ask me. The text at the end says "The BMW 1 Series hasn't got front-wheel-drive. Now you know what makes it so sporty".

If I was ever in the market for a compact hatchback, I will be driving the 1 series.

They would show the hatch back on the commercial :( . Personally i think the 135i 3-door would be a hot car in this country. I know I'd have one.
