So, we have seen the official photos yesterday in a couple articles, but no live pics were posted anywhere at that time. The guys at Bilnorge.no attended a private and exclusive BMW presentation in Munich in which the new 7 Series was unveiled. Even though the quality of the photos is not extremely high, you can at least see the new 7 in a couple of different colors, and most importantly, in some real life pictures, rather than the official ones.

Here you go:

Btw, apparently the new 7 will eventually come in four different versions: petrol, diesel, hydrogen and hybrid.

Thanks Lord Bear. These photos look much better than the official press release ones.

I'm OK with the conservative/evolutionary styling. The rear lights remind me too much of the Lexus but those new LEDs look awesome.

Note the tail pipes, which differ from the 535 dual tip style in the official photos from the bloviating brochure. What does it all mean? Will there be a TT V-12 to make OzBoy happy? We still know so very, very little. And the official website still doesn't show it as a coming vehicle.

The premiere in Moscow? I guess being the largest BMW market in the world (USA and, specifically, California) means little these days when ROW is subsidizing our low, low prices.

Thanks for the pics Bear!

I still think the back looks LEXUS all the way... :shake:

The front end is very nice. The side profile view is elegant (with a touch of Concept CS, with that crease line), but the rear lights will need me getting used to. Too much Lexus.

:stupid: That "bulge" in the taillights is odd for a BMW, IMO.
