View Full Version : 6 Series Driving Experience - for 2?

I am about to book my (two day) 6 series Driving Experience in SC. My card says "you and a guest are entitled to participate in the complimentary 6 Series Driving Experience".
My question is: are the guests full participants? I have a friend who would love to get behind the wheel.
I am hoping someone can answer this. Thanks!

I believe they are. I went the "M" driving experience, and brought a guest. He got to do pretty much everything I did!

The guest at the 6DE gets to do everything the purchaser does. I hear this is the case - I've never been. :ball:

I got a late notification and couldn't get things worked out to attend. Plus, I wasn't active in any forums at that time (unlike my posting record shows at this site Edit: fixed and no longer says 4 :smilie_laugh:) and didn't know what I would be missing.
Mal and I had plans, twice, for me to go as his guest but the f'ing terrorists screwed us once, and I'm :old: and can't remember the other reason.

being that i just went in may i can tell you now that yes guests get to do everything the owners do. there is about 22-24 (i think thats what we had) people split into 3 groups each doing different things. The driving is all done on the first day and is pretty much a shortened version of the regular driving school. I would still recommend you do the two day school even if you do this. they take you on the skidpad to demonstrate dsc and put you on a handling course and a braking course, and at the end they let you drive a buffett of bmws which is always fun. not as good as the real bmw schools but its a nice taste. the second day was an awesome day, but not because of the 6er experience. we had the massages that day but that was in the late afternoon, so we took a factory tour instead, which was awesome. its amazing to see these cars be built. definately recommend you going.

Where are the pictures? I will not miss my next one - either the 6DE or M school...that all depends on :bmw:

I did the M experience and then the two day M school two days later. It was a total blast!!!

I had to fit the 6 DE in between a business trip and the 5 ED, so I was totally fried. Nevertheless, I had a ball, and yes, partners have full driving privileges.
And, the gay guy who administered my massage on the second day was quite competent. The ending was fine, but, I'm pleased to report, not happy.
