Any of you 6er guys have aftermarket exhaust? I did 3 resonator delete, added xpipe. Feels, sounds good, but not deep enough. Thinking of adding magnaflow mufflers. Thoughts? Will they fit, do you kno size, offsets etc i would need?

tbal,

Can you record and post a sound-bite?

Not many upgrades I have read or heard use Magnaflow... You might want to consider SuperSprint or Eiseman.

i'd recommend SS X pipe with eisemanns, Ive heard this setup on the M5 and it sounds sicker than most ferraris!

the magnaflows suprsingly sound freakin sweet. Theres many clips on youtube of bmw v8s with magnaflows...

I will try to get a sound clip, it sounds very european for sure, almost high tone m6 like...

Test drove a 850i (v12) with Magnaflows. Noisiest car (interior w/windows up) I have every driven including my early mods (50 Chevy, 49 Plymouth, 53 Merc - some w/no mufflers) in the late 50s that I drove up to Vancouver, BC.

v12 is different than v8, also who knows how it was modded, straight pipes, no cats, no xpipe... all those factors make a difference. From what i heard, this would sound good, not too loud at all.. stock cats, xpipe, stock resonator, magnaflows.
