Anyone have a source for HIGH QUALITY carbon fiber roundels? It seems all the ones I see out there are cheap and "plasticky" looking.

I found these, but i think they are a little over the top for me...

That's because they are all plastic! Even the OEM "carbon fibre" interior fittings are not real carbon fibre, but plastic made to look like it.

The only real deal is the carbon fibre roof on the coupe.

I believe ptrnflyr is a dentist. He should be able to help you. Was that front and back or top and bottom? If you don't want to pay a dentist, I've got a hammer.

Actually, you are closer to the answer than you think When you need to remove any "stuck on" emblems (those not attached with screws, but rather double sided tape) you get some dental floss and you work it under the emblem to break the glue free. I always use some of that Blue painters tape around the area I am working on so I don't introduce any scratches or marks.

After you get the emblem off, you can soak the remaining glue with GooGone and it should come off with no problem.

Oh, the Roundel emblems, not grillz? That's easy. I use a screwdriver, pry it under the emblem and usually it just pops up. If not, then I get a hammer and strike the end of the screwdriver sharply a few times. Works like a charm. The Roundel pops right off. But the bodywork necessary to restore the hood or trunk lid costs a fortune.

:scared: :scared: Wouldn't it be easy to just put a duct tape over it and then paint it matching colour?

Hell, why not get COLORED duct tape and you can skip the painting!
