Wheels look out of proportion (small) to the rest of the car to me.

WOW, what a difference of pics, the silver one looks way better than the green/grey one. Is it the wheels and rims or is it just me.

if we go by the brochure, the rims are from the Sport package on the x35i, so the side should say xDrive35i

Yeah, thats what I was hoping for but can't make it out on the side.
And that my friend is correct. The tail pipes are a dead give-away.
Wheels look out of proportion (small) to the rest of the car to me.
It is too tall for a coupe, or put another way, not long enough. But BMW would not make it shorter and or longer because it is a SUV.

They have an 08 X6 with optional ventilated seats :sht: ...I buy an 08 650i convert and I cant get ventilated seats :jackit:
Also I hate the stupid knobs for the AC settings...hard to tell what temp set at..why do they have a digital display on the X6 :ball: and not the 650
I gotta say..I am ticked at some of this stuff

Most of that is explained by the X6/X5 being a newer platform than the 650i. BMW seems to have learned from customer complaints and are slowly improving the iDrive interface, etc. They could have done more during the LCI update to the 6er (and 5) but I bet they wanted to keep the 3 knob layout for its looks, not functionality. FYI, the temp setting is easier to see at night because of the lit up line.
I wonder if ventilated seats are a priority 1 option on the 650i? They are available on the '08 5 series but only as a special order item and cost a whooping $3500 because of requiring the upgraded perfed leather plus the ventilation, both secret opts known as "Priority One Options".

As for priority one..at least at the cult site there were no priority one options that I know of for the 6 series..never asked the dealer(pretty sure the pearl leather is not perforated..or am I wrong on this too)
I am not sure I would have paid $3500 but probably...as the heat in the summer sucks in a big way.....
