Yeah, I'm interested for my wife in about a year. #1 on the list is replacing my RX 330 which has 55k miles. Absolutely love it. Have had 5 Lexi's and not a single one has seen the inside of a service garage except to change the oil!!! Want a 2010 RX 400H as #1 on the list. She drives an ES 330 right now and says she may want something a little more SUVish, but not Escalade-like.

I knew somebody would say that it was already answered, but you guys post so dang fast, I truly can't keep up with everything! I'm only about 1,000 posts behind everyone of you... :violin:

Also, is the Hybrid idea dropped since it's the 3.5 and 5 series only mentioned in the brochure

the Hybrid is only a concept, not a production engine setup...in the latest BMW Mag they have a story about the car and the concept, but there is no mention of actually producing it yet, it just references the concept as steps toward a real world application of the idea....

if you really are considering the 400h, be sure you drive it around town and on the highway...my friend got one for his wife and i've driven it often...the hybrid might be cool as a buzz word, but there is a noticable lack of 'something' when driving one, and the brakes are weird...there is nothing sporty at all about it from a driving point of view :shut:

The X6 is like 2 inches longer than a 650....

I personally do not like the "SUV" in real life pics..ie not the brochure

I just dont see how it will appeal to people wanting more space it looks way too small..looks smaller than the FX 35/45 but maybe not...now if you want a more "SAV" than X5 I guess this is the way to go...I am assuming this will be sportier than the X5

I agree completely I think it is an excuse to charge another $10K for basically an X5. However, that doesn't mean I may not get one when the lease on the staton wagon runs out. I love the new motor combo.

You sucker! But funny enough, true though, if I were in the market for an SUV (and room is not top priority), I'll probably end up with one too (and even a bigger sucker because I'll order the Individual Scrotum version).

I've driven the 400H quite a bit, but I'm talking about the 2010 one that you can see in some spy photos on the net. It is based on the new body Highlander and looks quite a bit different. I'm hoping that the 2nd generation will not be so "bland".
