Recently I had Dinan install intake, throttle body, suspension and exhaust, similar to the work that "aalonso" had done. However, unlike aalonso, Dinan could not install their software upgrade because my 650 was to new of a build. (mid 2007). Being anxious and impatient to bring all the Dinan mods together with a re-programmed ECU, off to the internet I ride on my trusty stead. :greet:. Somehow I ended up at a web site called Singh Autosport. After checking the site out it looked promising and like a definate possibility. And since they happened to be located just down the road in the Bay Area, (Fremont, Ca.) I gave them a call. I talked to the owner, a young gentleman named Jags, who definately knew what he was talking about. So off to Fremont I went this morning for my $600.00 software upgrade. Of course one is always a bit leary of these kind of situations but driving up to his operation to see a Bentley and new Mercedes helped ease the anxiety. Anyway, long story short, about an hour after he had removed the ECU, reprogrammed it and replaced it, I was on my way. Holy Bajesus, what a difference. :runhappy: Emmediate increased throttle response, a lot quicker to red-line and really nice and smooth but tighter shifting. And maybe even better gas mileage. So that's my experience with Singh Autosport. Check it out. Jags, the owner, is a Europe raised guy with lots of BMW background and connections. :bmw:

Did he say what effect his ECU mods (or your others for that matter) would have on the warranty? Is that a concern for you?

Last time I checked, that one included some hardware too... ;-)
645/650 upgrade path = M6.
I like that one. :mrgreen:
I took an alternative route but the net power ratio is still the same. :grin:

The entire route (not mine) is thus:
2002 --> 320 --> 525i --> 633CSi --> M3 --> 645Ci --> M6 --> B7 --> X6 --> M3* --> H5 --> hearse.
* Last hurrah before we ran out of petroleum products.

I am a little concerned but I can have it re-flashed back to the OEM sittings (which he has on file) before taking the car into a dealer if I have a warranty claim. Also if I get an update program from BMW (like 25.1 etc) that does reset everything, I get 2 free re-flashes from him. As far as my other mods that are all from Dinan, they have their own warranties for any issues that BMW won't cover. So I'm told.
