Guys ! what do you think of the Redesigned AC Schnitzer Trunk lid ? I was checking pics online and I really liked the design !
I think it will look terrific to have the trunk lid only, gives you abit of uniqueness 8-) Anybody knows if we can order it separately or is it just part of the TENSION package ?

You have my vote, I like it.
Sure you can take any part you like from ACS. Chat with JG59 and perhaps you can contact CES in California if you do not have any authorized ACS installations centers near you.

I like it, too! Almost prefer the hump was a little less pronounced - just enough to offset from stock, but nice concept.

Hmmm. I KINDA like it, but I think it looks a little "Monte Carlo-ish" from some angles.

Let's not confuse new with improved (as every cereal maker and everyone else involved in marketing products in the US does). It gets most of its different look from the horrendous paint job that AC Sh!tzer seems compelled to add to cheapen the looks of all its cars.

Appreciate all opinions, but guys, this is the same story of the 6er when it first came out ! no one accepted the look of the trunk, but since you got used to it, you think it looks cool ! This new hump just needs a liiiittle bit of getting used to, thats all ! Dont get distracted by the whole body kit and stuff, just think of the trunk, beleive me it looks Ok, very simple! And its not much bigger that stock, just abit higher at the center.

Yup, you have a point here, except for the middle tail light and the keyhole. :tongue:
But what do you think of it ?
Cute pic, Boxy. At least Sh!tzer hasn't fewked that car up -- yet. It's good to know that the Bungled Bangle Butt revision has some :bmw: DNA.

I totally agree Mal, i dont like anything in the car, im only interested in the Trunk lid :mrgreen:

As for the analogy with the Z4, the Z4 has "flaming surfaces" throughout the whole car, both convex and concave designs, which its trunk lid is also part of. But the E63 coupe does not. So there!

It works with the "flaming surfaces ( :supergay: ? )" of the Z4 as Ozzy said, but honestly, I do not like it on the 6er. It doesn't matter what I think, however...it's all about if you like it or not.
