:ball:

Well first of all I'll say is :sht: :sht: :sht: :headache:

Two of these in the space of two weeks :ball:

Picture says 1000 words :ball:

I have eye for these kinds of things(notice every thing and any thing when comes to our :bmw: )so the first one was on front left (passenger side) So today at the mobil while getting 98 RON I decided to give tires hit of air, upon looking back I noticed more :sht: nail thingos stuck in there again :ball: This time it's the right rear (driver side) So after having a chat to wife on the way home we decided that it had to come from her work (office manager at an engineering company)She had changed were she was parking the car at my request because the birds were pooing all over it :ball: ,as you can see we can't win :ball: And in any event what's the chances of getting two of these thing on normal road, were hundreds of other cars drive over same roads.

I've just been taking it to the tire shop out this way,I think they plug it or some thing,I'm up for some new boots for it this year later on any way,so I want to get new rims to at the same time.

Man, I had the same thing happen when I first got my M5 within one day a big azz screw was shinning bright sticking out of my rear drivers side tire. Worse, it was to close to the side wall to fix.

I had 2 nails in different tires in 3 months with the 650i in the RFTs. One I caught first (I saw it in a pic in the 1st week of ownership) and the other TPM caught. It had only lost 3-5 lbs. Fortunately both where repairable otherwise I would have been out quite a chunk of change. A few months later I hit a pot hole and blew out the sidewall of a 3rd tire. That one did cost me.

Mate, you know the saying: "sh!t happens". I got a nail in my rear right runflat about only a year into owning the 650i. I think the ferals here don't clean up the streets as well as they should, despite garbage trucks that roam on the roads every now and then with those fancy sweepers.

I had 4 tires punctured by nails in one month in my A6 a couple of years ago. Pi * * ed is not even close to describing how I felt! :pissed2:

Also got one on my Z4 M Coupe, less tha 1500km's from new...no spare wheel AND no run flats, it had a mobility kit. Only problem was the cigar lighter didn't work so I couldn't use the kit (it comes with a compressor) and had to call a friend to rescue me. The kit blew goo all over the rim but it did fix the hole in the tyre quite nicely. Turned out the fuse of the cigar lighter was gone, should have checked that but hey...it was a new car.
