Saturday I had my recently acquired (OEM) 19" M6 wheels (with factory Conti tires) installed on my 650i.

Ride is very nice and much quieter than runflats.

However, I need to get TPM sensors installed since they seemed to have been removed by the previous owners. I am going to the dealer tomorrow. Does anyone know if the 2007 TPM system has two pieces or just one? I thought I heard elsewhere that the TPM is a valve replacement that just screws into the area where the normal tire valve is. But then I read that there is both the screw-in valve AND an internal sensor that is mounted inside of the wheel. Does anyone know for sure?

I'll find out tomorrow when I speak to the dealer but advance information would still be appreciated.

The larger M6 brakes I purchased (from Bear) look great behind the M6 wheels. Very cool look. I will be posting pictures soon.

Cheers!
