Heard today that Dinan might offer the same charger on the Alpina B7 for 645s... Would require major work, but could really boost the performance of the car. I was on GA400 today, and needed to get in front of some people - barely touched the gas and was going about 120 when I looked down. I'm not much of a top speed guy - there's little point where I live, but it made me think... Do I really need/want a car that can do 0-60 in the high 3s? Can't believe I just typed that, but let me know what you think!

A polite Mercedes-Benz salesman once said to me when I was enquiring about the stooopidly fast SL65 AMG: "Sir, I see. You are interested in a car with the potential to unleash power without actually the need to do so".

Gentlemen, it's always assuring to know we have very big engines under our hoods ... How can one not be a man and not want that assurance?

If you need something faster get an M6 :flamethrow: seems like a waste of money to me, BMW already has the perfect solution available..

Oh yes! I agree too! More power the better, commensurate with great handling.

Here is a link to what I just posted on e60.net in regards to a supercharger. http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=47841.

Maybe... I'd say go for the M6. Your resell on something so modified may result in a very low ROI... Unless you you have some tweener looking to show his friends something...

Hey, I think I just got my first whisker!!! :greenlaff:

Keep talkin', I'll remember it next time we're on TOD. That is, assuming your wife isn't driving. :youbet:
