ahh i see thanks guys, I will give them ONE more chance and then if they blow it im switching.

one more question about idrive problems. I am not clear on what the arrow display problem is exactly.

Is it referring to when im on the entertainment menu, the right side i am able to have navigation correct. If I dont start guidance in the main navigation menu, then I cant use the arrow display option (font is faded and cant select), however when i start guidance in main navigation menu, then I switch over to the entertainment menu to view navi, I can now use the arrow display option (font is normal and can select)....is that what the problem is referring to? if thats the case then i am fine for this one

OR

is it referring to when I am start guidance in the navi menu, then switch over to the entertainment menu to view navi in for example, perspective view. are the arrows suppose to pop up there automatically? cause if they are they dont on mine.

sorry if this is confusing, hope you guys understand.

It is a selectable option in the iMenu (yours may not look exactly like mine as I am on v25.xx.xx) where if you have navigation active and you have another item selected on the right 1/3 of the screen, just before a turn the arrow instructions would pop in for the turn (1000 feet or so) and then go away after th eturn and your original selection would come back. If you have HUD, HUD would also have to be off (I don't think you have it).

Well then that tells me more as this capability got broke with PROGMAN 19.xx.xx. So we can surmise that your version is older than that.
