I had an opportunity to take an 80 mile test drive this week in one of the most fun cars I have ever driven. Let's see if you guys can identify the car by its description:
true rattlebox
4 cylinder
rear engine
4 speed manual (stick)
0-60 mph in less than 3.8 sec
100-30 mph in <50 feet
no bluetooth

Lord Bear, I don't think NSX were rattleboxes, more like targa tops. I maybe wrong. :dunno:

The 4-speed would imply some older design:

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!!! Boxboss hit the nail on the head. I had an opportunity to spend a day on the track with a Formula car. This was the most fun I have had behind the wheel! Fast and took corners like it was nailed down, but the most impressive performance is from the brakes. I actually have bruises on my chest caused by the harness during breaking.

Neither one of those are 4 cylinder, Aus. Unless the cylinders are the size of a Foster's quart can +.

Sounds like lots of fun! Was it part of a Skip Barbor like driving school or a special event? I'd be tempted to do something like that but am more interested in driving schools more applicable to driving my own car.
Lotus Elise.
That would have been my guess also. Wrong anyway.

I did not think Indy since I did not think many people here other than my International :knight2:s have interest in Formula racing...
It's cool though... Karen1112, tell us more.

The Elise is much slower (0-60) and has a 5- or 6-speed gearbox.
And I somehow managed to overlook the 4 cylinder clue with my own guess... :headache:
