It's great when you are one of those who run a board. You can do whatever you want. I remember suggesting to Jon .00002 that he should add a lemon smiley years ago. Jon .00002 was too busy with his decimals to do anything about it.

Well, I saw this smiley today and realized we had to have it. Not only does it coincide with one of my other passions (no, not the schaudenfreud passion), but it is so useful when dealing with my former acquaintances elsewhere. So, without further ado, here it is:

Thanks to BDAW for putting it up for us.

Lord Pomposity, what happens when the horse does that :sht: ? Do you pick up the stools with your hands to :flush: them (like we are supposed to when we walk the dog), or do you leave it there where it happened and let other people and other sportsmen get :shitfan: ?

We do not ride around with poopy bags and stop and clean up after our horses. While people have complained about the pollution our automobiles have caused, 100+ years ago, in cities like New York, with macadam (asphalt) roads, the roads were slippery and befouled and the cause of a large number of accidents. :old: The advent of the "horseless carriage" :race: was great progress because the horse is such a pig. (My best friend used to have a horse trailer whose license plate was "BIG PIGS.")

"BIG PIGS"? Not "BIG POOS"?

One Sunday we finished a hunt and met for brunch at a restaurant in Calabasas called "The Sagebrush Cantina." A fixture at the Cantina for 25 years on Sunday have been the large numbers of motorcycle riders (a couple of hundred) also having brunch. As we sat down at our table, resplendent in our hunt kit, and boots, a group of badly turned out cyclists, with their leathers, and boots, were at the next table. I looked at them and asked them what they rode. "Harleys," they all said. "Oh," said I, "you ride big hogs and we ride big pigs."

No. Actually, they laughed. And then we all ate sausage. :eatdrink:

I recall my first and only ever visit to the circus when I was a kid. We sat near the front, I think a row or two behind the first row. Great views of all the animal shows and human stunts/trapeze. Yes, there were a lot of :sht: , but the one that caught my attention (and obviously I still remember so many years later) was not that of a horse, but that of an elephant :sht:. Oddly enough, I found that more amusing than all the other shows at that circus. And funny that I am telling this story years later in a BMW 6 series discussion forum over the internet. :greenlaff:
