yes, we're all waiting to see what it could look like, though im sure that none of the CGIs are at all representational of what will be offered; as noted in earlier stories, that Concept CS will give us a clue in the direction that BMW is going, but we're probably a year or so away from seeing anything in a 6er Fxx-Concept Car...once we see that, we'll know the basics.... :knight2:

I say, the more controversial the better! I like the edgy ground breaking 6er! I want more or I will go to AUDI! :greenlaff:

You're already saying you're going to Aston Martin (formerly a Ford which is now a Kuwaiti AM?), so BMW isn't taking your threats seriously. At least I don't think Vatkens has stripped off her driving gloves in despair.

he did say he'll be back for the Fxx 6er, so perhaps we should give him some slack

I'd like to see if they could achieve the same chassis rigidity and reduce the size of the B pillar, maybe all the way to non-existent.

And who knows what gman will be in by then :race:

..reduce the size of the B pillar, maybe all the way to non-existent.Right. It looks like a foam cushion stuck in the window.

Couldn't they make that silver molding thing on the driver's door and the fender in front of it line up at least?

The trouble with large coupes is that if BMW designs the F-whatever 6er any bigger, it might start to look sedan-ish. Take a close look at the rather corpulant (though still elegant) Mercedes-Benz CL coupe. It's a big ship alright. Benz has tried hard with this one but from certain angles, it simply looks awkward. Luckily for us, I think BMW has one of the best ideas about styling proportions on coupes. If BMW wants to grow the 6er in size, keep the proportions right, as it did with the CS Concept. If they make a true coupe version of the CS Concept, I'm sold!
