Thanks, but it's been over for a few days. :ball: I hit 101 and I don't even get a card from GW Bush!
Did you get one from Al Roker?
I did see Willard Scott* gluing a picture of Mal to the side of a Smucker's Jam jar.
* Did anyone know that Willard Scott created the character Ronald McDonald?

Down here, you get a letter (used to be a telegram) from the British monarch in reign when you turn 100.
Tell you a story. I recall from the BBC News shown a few months ago. There is this Englishman, who placed a bet with his local pub/bar (an old establishment), when he was a much younger lad, that he would reach 100 years of age. Sure enough, he celebrated his 100th birthday this year. So, the pub/bar lost the bet and paid this :old: guy his winnings with accumulated compound interest (or something to that effect). I think it was a five figure British Pound Sterling win. Not a bad bet!

Shame on you, Bear. No review of your new Brembos. :dunno:
Can't you at least give us the tech specs? Tell us how long it took to put them on. What colour choices were available for the calipers. And how the cross drilled rotors differ from our stocks? And, if you can tell any difference in braking characteristics or if it was all for show. :runhappy:

OK Seriously...
1- Tech specs: I have no idea (sorry, not my thing).
2- How long it took to put them on: About 4 hours (I went to lunch).
3- Colour choices available for the calipers: Black (too dark), Red (too ricey on this type of car), Yellow (Porsche Poseur-esque), Silver (Very tasteful...We HAVE a winner!)
4- How the cross drilled rotors differ from our stocks: They are bigger.
5- Can you tell any difference in braking characteristics or if it was all for show: The way I drive most of the time ( :old: ) I really don't get on the brakes too much so I have no idea if they are any better. I did it mostly for show. I talked to quite a few people at the SD GTG on Aug 11, and they all told me that I probably wouldn't notice too much difference on the streets unless I was a really heavy brake user. They said that on the track, where the OEM brakes would fade terribly, is where I would really come to appreciate the BBBK.
On a side note. I do have the complete OEM setup (brakes, calipers, rotors, pads, lines, etc.) for sale for anyone out there that wants the M6 brakes on their regular 6er. They have almost 5K miles on them, but as you all know...I drove like an :old: with those, so they probably haven't even been broken in yet.
