Fellow KOTR members. We have recently instituted a new ranking system based on posting activity. Due to external influences and theft of content, we are making the majority of our site features accessible only to full members. Our feeling is that those who want to be a part of our community will officially "join" our forums, rather than lurking as a guest. Membership is entirely free! This new ranking system is required in order for the software to ensure that our content does not get into the wrong hands.
Below, you will see the ranks and their respective required posts.
Peasant--0
Knave--1
Knight in training--50
Knight Novitiate--150
Knight--200
Knight with Silver Spurs--300
Knight with Golden Spurs--400
Knight with Carbon Fiber Spurs--600
Knight with Platinum Spurs--1000
Lord with Titanium Spurs--1500

Knight--200
I like the new system. I prefer "Knight" to "Commander." :knight2:

I wanted to be the "Knight Industries Two Thousand" (K.I.T.T.), but Mal said no!
I was going to change my username to Michael just before 200 posts.
I've unlocked this thread so those from knaves on can comment. (Peasants automatically become knaves if they post.) Ozzy was a bit p.o.'d that he lost his commandership, but I'm not sure why since he is (allegedly) the Galactic Emperor.
While we are tightening up this site a touch, there is still no advertising (and never will be). So you don't have to join in order to avoid some of the forms of hucksterism blowing your way such as may be found at other sites. :shut: And, all features will be available to all members, even disagreeable posts. We don't prune, truncate, edit, remove or delete if you abide by the ToU. We have nothing to hide and no advertisers to placate. We aren't looking to be bought and we can't be bought.

Perhaps he is Princess Leia?
I like the ranking system, you should do a second type of ranking system of approved GTG's or Meets members go to. Maybe thats taking it to far but its an idea.

My feeling is that any place two owners of :bmw: meet is "approved."

Sounds interesting. Let's run it past Mal...
Lord of Titanium Spurs. I like that! Note the capital letter "S", please edit! These are all titles. :knight2:

Looks like Gene has spun out of control:

Jon .002 says
You’re doing a great job, Brownie!
And Jon .002 is posting silly things in a post he has closed so that no one can reply to his stoopidity. That's what we call brave, bimmerfest.com style.
With our new changes, and giving a certain lurker member (who had signed on twice with two different screen names) the boot, we should be able to protect our content a little longer. We shall see.

Yup. Just what I told him in an e-mail asking for the 5th time to please delete my membership over at BFC which he refuses to address.
