This morning, when I was trying to go to KOTR site, there was a message that said that for the next 24 Hours, use the following link:
http://serv0315.bdaw.com/~knightso/forum/
:-o :-?
After about an hour, sometime around 10:00 AM CST, the regular site address worked. What puzzled me is this: in the link that I was redirected to, there is BDAW. We also have a new member BDAW, that hasn't posted yet. I'm just :-? - Anyone? :helpsign:
:dunno:

What was at the site you were linked to? I haven't been told of anything that would require redirection.

It said "For the next 24 Hours, use the following link..." The orriginal KOTR address did give me the knight and logo of our site. Once I clicked on the logo to enter is when I got this redirect message. :dunno:

Did you click on the link and if so, what was the result?

When I clicked the link, it took me to the login page ( :-o ) even though I set my IE to remember my ID and passowrd and then, after I logged in, to the index page of KOTR (everything but the site address was the same).
Did I do that??? :-o

:dunno: We need to have an admin chime in on this.

Never fear! All is well men!
This is our new home. Jonathan (of BDAW) and I worked last night to get the switch made. He has graciously set us up on his server. We now have full access to our site and feel that we will be able to be more productive.
Thanks again Jonathan, you really pulled through for us.
Frank
Let me just add that Jonathan, owner of BDAW, is also a Bimmer owner, so we are (remain) in very good hands. BDAW.com is a hosting service that has some of the most bullet proof and fastest servers in the universe. And it's located in World Famous Beverly Hills, which is important when we get the billion dollar buy out offer. Jonathan is also going to help out as our "Admin" when we have software issues. This is one of his many areas of expertise.
So, let me thank Jonathan and Bear. Jonathan is going to modify the language at the bottom of the site shortly to indicate that BDAW.com is the host. Don't worry. All is well!

How about a little "heads-up" when these things are going to happen? :headache:

We were hoping nobody would be up at 2 am. But I guess all you guys do is drive, booze and post. The :sleep2: is reserved for us :old: folks.

Ha! I'm an :old: fart, too. I get to work at 6AM (4AM PDT) so I check for new posts pretty early. I've noticed Dave does the same. Maybe it's not :old: but :nosetothegrindstone:
Well, I never saw anything...

It came and went while you were "away" somewhere.
