OK. It is official...I actually really am a 6er driver now (as opposed to just on paper)!
My European Delivery was on Friday 7/20 and I picked up the following car:
2007 650i. Sport Package. Steptronic. Premium Sound. Satellite Radio (doesn't seem to work in Europe, BTW), HD Radio, Night Vision (I've been warned it is a waste of $ - we'll see!), Heads-up Display (already my favorite option!!) and Comfort Access (fob is always in my pocket - haven't used the key or fob remote yet!)
Day One of my European Delivery started in Munich on the 19th. I picked up the car on the 20th. As I am writing this it is July 23rd and I am currently in Salzburg, Austria. I have 9 more days which will include more stops in Austria, the Czech Republic, Frankfurt, Mettenheim, and some stops along the "Romantic Road" before looping back to Munich for drop-off.
I was CameronB over at BF but as I was knighted "Lord Cash" by Mal over there (his last BF knighting, as far as I can tell), I have decided to become LordCash. I will also respond to "Cameron" as well :-)
I am trying to post (somewhat boring) pictures of the car, since I know everyone asks for that. However, my laptop doesn't seem to have software on it that will scale the pictures to a size that this board will accept (mine are 7MP or 10MP images). I am trying to do figure out how to do this w/o Photoshop (which my MacBook Pro doesn't have on it). And, yes, better pics will be coming as well (provided I overcome the scaling/max size issue previously noted!). I've been to some great spots in Germany and Austria so far but unfortunately my car hasn't ended up parked in such a way to provide nice backdrops :x But I am sure that fate will provide the ability of being in a picturesque spot AND having the car in the same said photo and not in the corner of some giant parking lot a km or two away from that picturesque spot!
