Here is a link to a post and thread on an excellent write up on some of the new systems and options coming soon to the 6er (his eval is in a 550i). Rudy is a very valuable member/poster over on e60.net and a long time SMG (as implemented in 8cy e60/63) advocate. Since SMG is no longer available he went for the new SAT (Sports Automatic Tranny).

Thanks for the link... IMHO he doesn't sound really convinced of the SAT yet and I fear i know exactly what he means! :ball:

GT - True, he is not convinced. It is a good thing for me since I already am wedded to AT so the SAT will be even better. But for you SMG or manual types the SAT may not be the right choice, but the only alternative for a few years to teh manual. But Rudy is an honest broker so I will be following his impressions as they unfold.
