You guys missed the one word which, significantly, separates me from him: Big.
My error. My previous post should read "...ALMOST in complete agreement..."

I still stay with mine...Mal and Jon ARE the same person. Mal just acts like a bully over here so we won't put 2 and 2 together.

I got my car back yesterday night and today I got to drive it to the fullest (I kept the "Release the Beast" button "ON" all the time :race: ). Is it me, or the v25.01.00 changes the way 6er accelerates? Or perhaps, since I was stuck with 328xi (non-sport) for whole week, I lost the sense of the "real" sport car feeling. :dunno: Anyways, my phone works great and I didn't see any probs with iDrive so far. The only thing that is different, is the control knob. It seems as it's no longer as sensitive as it was before. Maybe it's just me. Oh, well. I'm very  .

Many do report differences in performance, better and worse, after a software change. Most butt dynos are probably pretty accurate. Can be caused by resetting the learned drive settings in the STEP Tranny EGS. Or could be the DME or ECU was reprogrammed. Or it could just be the placebo effect. Who's to say?
You may really have received 25.02 as it was the last listed update although there are claims by dealers that they are installing 26.xx but it has the same Target Data Status as 25.02 so I am reluctant to state that it does exist or if it does there are no changes to the actual vehicle software.
In any case it should be pretty stable and and perform well.

Performing well - it does. Just came back from cruising. I couldn't help the urge to drive my 6er freely (not much of the traffic here at night). What a beast :woot: :score10: : Sport button or not - whooopeee... :race: (I was very careful and there were no :cop: :cop: , Thank god  )
