Most of my mod wishes are cosmetic.

I'd like to find some kind of angel eye lighting that is consistently bright w/o causing interference where a vendor can answer the questions about their product completely. The choices I've seen and heard about are inconsistent at best.

Me too, please tell us when you've finally found such an angeleyes product.
(Oops, did I just post in the 'Pimp your 6' forum? )

I like most of my mods to be functional. Granted the angel eye update is more cosmetic, but I want those lights to perform well. My windscreen is functional and my M6 wheels really alter the appearance of the 6 over the Ellipsoids, but give the 6 a different stance. What other mods would you guys like to see for your 6?

Cosmetic/appearance

or

Performance

How about someone finally coming out with a supercharger for this thing. I was told when I first ordered the car that Dinan was supposedly coming out with one. That was about 10 months ago, and still NOTHING! I need POWER!

There has to be SOMEONE/SOMETHING that can help this car in the performance department.

You know Bear you are right but the only thing that you need for performance is to let me drive your M6. I am that SOMEONE!!

Look into Hamann for some added power to your M6. Contact WheelPower in Huntington Beach for more info. Supposedly, the Hamann engine mod will add up to 60 hp. Here is a pdf you can browse. http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/pdf/en/ ... glisch.pdf (http://www.hamann-motorsport.de/pdf/en/BMW_M6_%20englisch.pdf)

I am in love with the Sprint Booster! I also had my ECU remapped last week. The combination of the two is AMAZING. My shifts with the SMG are super quick and smooth.

I have a baseline of sorts to compare against. I ran my buddy with a 550i and straight pipes a while back. He was pulling on me up top quicker than any other 550i's I've ran against. BTW, all the 550i's I've ever ran have all been my friends. The next time we run, if I end up being equal to him then I know I made some good gains. Yes, I'm aware it's not accurate but it's the best baseline I have. Unfortunately, I never got around to doing a dyno before doing my performance mods. :shake:

My buddy EuroCarFan, who has a M5, tried out the Sprint Booster on his car last week. He's sold. Here is a thread over on the M5board discussing the Sprint Booster. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=98290

Will this do anything to an m6?

You bet it will. There's not too many differences between a M5 and a M6. My buddy was sad to see the Sprint Booster removed from his M5, but I'm happy once again.

XMN,
I can help show you how to install the Sprint Booster this Saturday. It's real easy but if you make the mistake of plugging it in backwards like I did with my buddy's M5 it will throw an engine error message. I quickly fixed it though.

It seems a pretty easy install but I will need a helping hand, to make sure. I think they are sending it out Thursday or Friday so I don't think it will be here by Saturday. I hope it is though but they said it takes 2-3 days to process the order then they send it out.
