Sir Launchalot,
I meant to ask you this question a long time ago and never got a chance to. I noticed that when I use a Perspective View on my Nav, there are a little pics of clouds. These "clouds" show exactly in the same direction as the real clouds appear to be. I could never figure out :bang: where this weather info is obtain from and how it is integrated into Nav. :dunno:
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Chuck, seriously. Unless these are just a background pics. However, on the sunny days, there aren't any (well, maybe a couple). Just wondering :noob: , that is all.
Thanks,

They are the clouds from The Simpsons. Most of the time in SoCal there are no clouds and those damn Springfield, USA clouds show up anyway. We do not have RTW.

Thanks Mal. Although, it would've been nice to have RTW. Oh, well.

It becomes PAINFULLY obvious during a hurricane here in Florida that those are just "visions" of a perfect world by some programmer with a sense of humor.

it is just a gif file with a skyline, unfortunatley BMW moved pretty quickly away from disc based updates so you can't change the background files :(
