(I hope I'm posting in the right place)
Is there a way we can upgrade our Navigation system to include real time traffic updates?
If there is, how much will it cost?
Mine is a 2006 650i (built date: November 2005).

Sorry, asleep at the switch, er button. From all that I remember it is not retrofitable. I really di dnot research it well, just from memory. I'll will dig deeper tomorrow or the next day.

Nothing available yet. It would be nice.
In the early days RTTI came at the expense of HD radio. Now you can have both. I suspect iDrive needs additional input capabilities just like the iPOD interface to avoid CD changer removal.
RTT requires a separate antenna. I think the wiring harness cost would be prohibitive.

I just hope they figure out a retrofit like Chuck mentions, that only requires some minor arrangements...

Well there is always MY07 or MY08 that can be ordered with RTT. It's only :100: and you should not have to kill :grin:
how about a laptop with wireless internet and google maps as a short-cut? :grin:
