THanks, X. I wish I drove it more. I always feel bad that is sits in the garage all the time. But it will have to go to make room for the next one.

No...I have had a few offers (one of them very good) but all have been made by "NON-Car People" and I just couldn't BEAR to give her to those unwashed. I am holding out for someone that will treat her with respect and spoil her as I do.

Some lady wanted to buy her for her daughter's 16th Birthday!!! As if I would have some bratty 16 year old eating and drinking in it and driving it to the mall; parking in the first parking spot so it would get door dings!!!

Thank you. She is truly a masterpiece. The pics look ok but to see her in person is amazing.

True, photos sometimes do not do justice! Our 6ers are not the most photogenic of cars, even Chris Bangle admitted that once.

Have you contacted VW to see if they might be interested in acquiring your special Beetle?

Actually, I have not...and you are not the first person to suggest that. U hear they have a museum of sorts where the car would be taken care of very well. I will seriously have to look into how to get in touch with whom I need to.

Thanks

I think hes going to slum it. From the best VW ever made to a regular, run-of-the-mill Bugatti Veyron (also a VW Bug).
