I'm checking in and checking this place out. Our old home has just about withered up and blown away its so boring.
The Dragon Slayers know me but for others there isn't much to say.
My current stable is below, previous bimmers were a 2002 M5 that I still miss and a '99 540i sport auto.
If you want to see them, there needs to be decent attachments as I don't have an image hosting service at this time.

Hello Richard. Glad to see you here. :woot:
We do have decent attachment capability when it is offered such as on this forum. Just pick any pic on your hard drive though, not as big as you may like. Mine were 1024x7xx and you do have to use scroll bars to see whole thing. Probably 800x600 would post full size without having to scroll.

I tried an 800x600 attachment that meets M5board & Bimmerfest requirements and got that nasty error message. It forced me to re-enter the whole post.
Good to see you, Snappy. I lurked and saw some kicking of our cyber corpses over at http://www.bimmerfest.commercial. We hope to make this a lively place. At the request of your fellow knight, Sir Launchalot, we are trying to keep the vandals, unwashed, pissants and whinging 3er owners out. If they sneak in and act badly, they will be picked up by the ear and tossed.

Still no go with attachments. I reduced an image to 800x600 and 225kb. I get the following error. Oh well.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3200 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/knightsoftheroundel.com/httpdocs/forum/includes/functions_posting.php on line 654

Yep, you are correct. Just had that same experience on a pretty small file. Must be a server issue. Must be that us early posters with large files took up all the avalable room?
I was trying to do an experiment to post an attachment in fourm that would allow it and then move to where I wanted it.
Going back to drawaing board.

We don't have the traditional "thumbup" smilie - the one we use instead might be confused with another meaning! At any rate, glad to see you aboard Richard. I'm sure the site/software will be tweaked a bit <more> in the days to come.
Hey Richard!
Good to see you've dropped by.

Richard, you have done a great detail job on both the 6er and the beater. They both look great!
